Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, creeps in this petty pace from day to day – and as it approaches, I’m getting more and more excited. I’m set Monday to talk about my book MURDER IN PALM BEACH: The Homicide That Never Died at the Lantana Road Branch Library. The librarian called to remind me today and said about 20 people are expected to show up. So yeah, I’m stoked.

The novel is in no way a tale told by an idiot (although I’ve been called worse things). MURDER IN PALM BEACH closely follows a real murder that happened in 1976 and, playing on the Bard of Avon’s observation, it signifies a lot. I’ll try to convey that significance in my hour of strutting and fretting behind the podium – and then I’ll be heard no more as I sign the book you buy if, having been full of sound and fury, I’ve adequately aroused your curiosity.

The library is at 4020 Lantana Road, between Congress Avenue and Military Trail, south side. The event begins at 2 p.m. That’s Monday, April 11.
